Introduction

Feng Zhang, comes from Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, professor and Ph.D supervisor of Shandong University. Mainly engaged in prestressed concrete bridge disease prevention and strengthening, corrugated steel web composite bridge research. Presided over 68 national and provincial projects, and 34 major principal projects. Has been awarded the second prize of Science and Technology Progress of Shandong Province (Rank No.1), the second prize of Science and Technology Progress of Shaanxi Province (Rank No.3) and Second prize of China Highway Society (Rank No.2) once, has been awarded the third prize of Science and Technology Progress of Shanxi Province (Rank No.3) twice. Has published more than 100 academic papers, among which 54 have indexed in SCI/EI, 29 national invention patents were authorized, edited 2 Group standards, formulated 3 local standards, published 1 scholarly work. Served as an editorial review expert of China Highway Journal, Traffic and Transportation Engineering Journal, etc.

Achievements

For the needs of national major engineering safety construction, revolves on the key theoretical problems and technical challenges of disease detection and reinforcement of concrete bridges, relying on national major and difficult projects such as Sichuan-Tibet Railway and Qingdao Bay Bridge, conducts in-depth theoretical and engineering application research, three iconic achievements have been achieved as below.

1. Developed the quality control technology of concrete bridge concealment engineering construction

Revealed an under-anchor force transmission mechanism of the reverse-stretch method and established a prestress evaluation system. Constructed a void estimation model of the grouting compactness of corrugated pipe; the qualification rate of prestressed steel strand tension and grouting that has increased to more than 98%. For the first time, established the construction control model of beam length and tension stabilization time, which avoided 8% prestress loss during the construction period of ultra-long beam (461m).

2. Innovated service performance evaluation theory of concrete disease bridges .

Proposed the embedded prestressed rebar degradation layered shell unit, which has overcame the problem of stiffness decline assessment after cracking of extra-large span beam bridges, and two papers were selected as "China's 100 Most Influential Domestic Academic Papers". And based on the measured technology, established the spatiotemporal distribution model of the hydration temperature field, the theoretical accuracy of the created temperature prediction has been improved by 30%.

3. Innovated concrete bridge service performance improvement technology that was innovated.

Established the concrete constitutive model considering FRP constraint, the fiber reinforced composite reinforcement technology of mechanical anchoring combined with chemical paste has been pioneered, which has broken through the technical bottleneck of low utilization rate of reinforcement materials and improved anchoring efficiency of prestressed carbon fiber plate. Compared with traditional bridge reinforcement technology, the reinforcement efficiency has been improved by 35%.

The research achievements have been successfully applied in China's highways, railways and other fields. The overall achievements application has extended to more than 20 provinces in China, and were directly applied to a large number of national difficult projects such as Sichuan-Tibet Railway, Beijing-Shanghai, Beijing-Taiwan Expressway, etc., which have played an important role in ensuring the safety construction of major national projects. 5 patents were included in the patent transformation group as core patents (20 million yuan). Have successfully avoided major engineering diseases, ensured the safety of human life and property during the operation of large-span concrete bridges, and produced significant social benefits.
