Responding to Shandong University "Academic Development" strategy and the mission of "Reserve talents for the world, and seek prosperity for the nation", it provides a platform for masters to demonstrate their self-discipline and professional interaction. The 2nd Master Academic Report Competition is now held by the School of Qilu Transportation, which is notified as follows:

Theme:

Hundreds of Schools Contend, Talents of Transportation Discuss.

Participants:

1. Participants in this competition are full-time masters studying in our school for two or three years. First-year students require a certificate from the discipline with more than one year of research experiences.

2. The participants in this academic report competition are recommended by various disciplines. According to the number of students in each discipline, participants are recommended at a rate of 5% (rounded up). The recommended quota for each discipline is as follows:

Selection Methods:

1. Each discipline should select students on the basis of the master academic forum held in this discipline, and the students who have performed well in the professional academic forum would be submitted to the Master Office according to the allocated quota.

2. The School organizes a judging committee for judging. Participants should select the most representative, practical and innovative content of their scientific and academic achievements for ppt or model display, and answer questions from the judges on-site. Please answer the questions for 3 minutes. The judges will score points on the spot based on the ppt or model display and defense situation (for the scoring standards).

3. The results will be announced on the spot.

Composition of Judges:

1. The assessment committee is composed of relevant leaders of the School, experts recommended by various disciplines, master secretaries and representatives of masters.

2. Members of groups and observation groups are organized by the disciplines, with 5-10 people in each discipline.

Awards and Bonus Settings:

One first prize with a prize of 3,000 RMB;

Two second prize with a prize of 2,000 RMB;

Five third prize with a prize of 1,000 RMB (tentative).

The numbers of prize in each level are finally determined according to the actual numbers of participants.

Time Schedule:

1. Declaration time: Before 11:30 a.m. on 10th December, the applicants should fill in the form and submit it to the monitor of the class. After the monitor's statistics are completed, please submit it to the master secretary of each subject before 15:00 on the 10th.

2. Determining time of the entry list: Before 15:00 on 13rd December, the postmaster secretary of each discipline fills in the list of participants and submits it to the Master Office.

3. Competition time: At 14:00 on 17th December, the lecture hall of School of Qilu Transportation on the 6th floor of the comprehensive experimental building of Xinglongshan Campus.

Attention:

1. Participants are required to sign in 30 minutes in advance and get the serial numbers of the lecture.

2. Anonymous reports are implemented in the final of this academic report competition. Participants only need to indicate their number of players during the ppt presentation and speech process, and must not mention names, majors, and mentor information, otherwise five points will be deducted from the total score.

3. The content of the participants' report must be their own scientific and academic achievements, and they must not tell the results of the entire research team or other members, nor should they only summarize the individual achievements. Please select representative innovation parts in your achievements for a more in-depth analysis.
