1.Physical and numerical modelling in geotechnical engineering.

2. Surrounding rock mass stability and excavation optimization analysis in underground projects.

3. Mechanical behaviors of jointed rock mass.

4. Hydraulic fracturing in fractured rock mass.

5. Crack propagation mechanism of brittle or quasi-brittle materials.

1.Investigations on the mechanism of hydraulic fracturing and its geomechanical response to original faults in complex shale gas formations,Natural Science Foundation of China, 2019 – 2022, Principal investigator.
